Parents play an active role in the learning process of the Suzuki method of teaching. The ideas of parent responsibility, loving encouragement, and constant repetition are some of the special features of the Suzuki approach.
Singing Strings Program - 45 minute private lessons once a week, 3 hour group lessons twice a month, 4 hour Singing Strings group lessons once a month, local and traveling performances
Suzuki Piano Program - 45 minute private lessons once a week, 2 hour group lessons twice a month
Private Violin, Cello or Piano Lessons (30 or 45 minute lessons)
Music Theory - Pitch. Rhythm. Scales. Intervals. Chords. Harmony. These are fundamental concepts you need to understand and master. By the end of the session you should be able to:
- Read and write musical notation
- Play notes on a piano keyboard
- Use scales, intervals and chords
- Write a melody
